Markku
Flink
joined
Periferia
in
2008
as
producer
and
started
to
run
the
company
during
2014.
In
2015
established
Markku
Luminoir
Oy
together
with
Pauli
Pentti.
Markku
has
produced
and
directed
films
in
the
Nordic
countries
since
the
1990’s.
Flink
graduated
as
a
documentary
film
director
in
Norway
in
1993.
In
addition,
he
has
participated
several
other

Flink
founded
a
regional
film
fund
and
a
film
commission
in
Oulu.
He
acted
as
the
Executive
Director
of
POEM
1999‐2008.
During
these
years
POEM
developed,
co‐produced
and
co‐financed
around
100
films:
shorts
&
docs,
tv‐series
and
feature
films.
POEM
was
also
an
active
partner
with
several
projects
in
Technopolis
Oulu
in
developing
and
creating
content
for
mobile
devices.
Markku
was
a
member
of
the
board
of
the
National
Cinema
Council
on
periods
2004‐2006
and
2007‐2009.
The
Council
is
an
expert
body
of
Ministry
of
Education
and
Culture
in
Finland.
Markku
is
an
active
member
of
the
Central
Organisation
of
the
Finnish
Film
Producers
and
ACE
Producers
Network.
