The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences has as its aim to promote the sciences and strengthen their influence in society.
Announcement
Anna-Greta and Holger Crafoord´s Fund awards each year an international prize to
distinguished scientists and scholarships or grants to researchers or institutions in Sweden.
The purpose of the Fund is to promote basic research in Sweden and internationally in the
following disciplines, in accordance with a set scheme:

Astronomy and Mathematics

Geosciences

Biosciences, with particular emphasis on ecology

Polyarthritis (e.g. rheumatoid arthritis)
Scholarships and grants for researchers
In 2017, scholarships and grants are announced for researchers in Polyarthritis, in the field of
“Regulatory T-cells in health and disease”.
Scholarships and grants can be awarded for scientific equipment, scientific activities,
publication of scientific papers, scientific conferences and symposia, invitation of foreign
visiting researchers, study tours abroad for Swedish researchers, or for activities promoting
research within the specified area.
Available funding 2017: SEK 550,000
Application
A link to the application site is provided below. At the site you create an account, enter personal
particulars and upload the requisite annexes in electronic form. Finally, you must print out the
first page of the application form, sign it, get it attested by the head of the institute concerned
and send it to the address specified on the page. The signed page must have reached to the
Academy no later than 7 days after the closing date.
The announcement is called Stiftelsen Anna-Greta och Holger Crafoords fond, in the
application system.

Allocation
About two months after the application period ends, all applicants can see through their web
accounts which applicants have received grants/scholarships. Only applicants who are awarded
scholarships or grants will be contacted in writing by the Academy.

Supplementary material submitted separately, incomplete applications and/or faxed or emailed
applications will not be considered. Application documents will not be returned.
Applicants awarded a grant or scholarship will be recognized and assigned a personal diploma at
the 2017 prize award at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences in Stockholm.
