He worked for a number of firms during his career and is best remembered as the proprietor of a family-run business, The Toy Chest in downtown Oakville which he ran for ten years with his wife Marion who predeceased him in 2005. He took an active interest and participation in the community through the White Oaks Choral Society, the Boy Scouts, taught ESL and always stayed on top of current events and the news of the day. Lovingly remembered by his daughter Colleen and sons Bruce and his wife Marilyn, and Robert and his wife Tanit. Cherished by his grandchildren Charlotte, Noel, Liam, Graeme and his nephews and nieces.
