Known for their ability to change color, they can be seen wearing a variety of colors, including brown, green, blue, yellow, red, black or white. Communication is an important reason behind these color changes. Chameleons have many other features that distinguish them from their lizard cousins. They are the only lizards with zygodactyle feet, or pincers. These grasping feet are ideal for tree climbing. Chameleons also have an extremely extensile tongue. Also distinctive are the independently moveable We at Reliance School (English Medium), believe and practice the preaching that the CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME and this Philanthropic Arm is being appreciated by the Reliance fraternity throughout India. With such a noble mission in their strong minds, our Students of Secondary and Higher Secondary Sections went around their localities and raised a fund for an N.G.O. named GLOBAL CANCER CONCERN OF INDIA. The students collected a sum of RS.15,641. They selected the noble day of Teachers Day i.e. 5th September to donate the cheque to Shri. Rajesh Hirvaniya—the manager of a leading N.G.O. namely Global Cancer Concern of India. The mission of this NGO is to combat cancer at all stages by seeking prevention early detection and recognizing palliative care management so that the cancer patients can live quality lives with dignity and selfesteem. Nuclear reactor A nuclear reactor is a device to initiate and control a sustained nuclear chain reaction. Most commonly they are used for generating electricity and for the propulsion of ships. Usually heat from nuclear fission is passed to a working eyes, which a l l o w fluid (water or gas), chameleons the ability to which runs through survey the world with nearly turbines that power 360-degree vision. either ship's propellers Truly bizarre. isnt it? or generators. Some produce isotopes for medical and industrial use, and some are run only for research. Just as conventional power stations generate electricity by harnessing the thermal energy released from burning fossil fuels, nuclear reactors convert the thermal energy released from nuclear fission. Leech : a very special physician! Seaplanes : the aircrafts on water! Yes, leeches can be thought of as slimy and unattractive creatures, but ugly or not, they do serve a lot of medical purposes when it comes to us, humans. Since ancient times, leeches were used to treat many illnesses and disease through bloodletting, a method where blood was drawn out in the hope that removing impure blood would heal the body. A seaplane is a fixed-wing aircraft capable of taking off and landing (alighting) on water. Seaplanes that can also take off and land on airfields are a subclass called amphibian aircraft. Seaplanes and amphibians are usually divided into two categories based on their technological characteristics: floatplanes and flying boats; the latter are generally far larger and can carry far more. These aircraft were sometimes called hydroplanes The first manned and controlled (though unpowered) hydroplane flight was established by French aircraft designer, builder and pilot Gabriel Voisin in June 1905, on the river Seine; it was a towed flight, at 15 to 20 m altitude (50 to 66 ft), and 600 meters (2000 ft) long. The aircraft was a biplane with an aft tail and a front elevator, supported at rest by 2 planing floats (catamaran). Radio telescopes A radio telescope is a form of directional radio antenna used in radio astronomy. The same types of antennas are also used in tracking and collecting data from satellites and space probes. In their astronomical role they differ from optical telescopes in that they operate in the radio frequency portion of the electromagnetic spectrum where they can detect and collect data on radio sources. Radio telescopes are typically largeparabolic ("dish") antennas used singly or in an array. Radio observatories are preferentially located far from major centers of population to avoid electromagnetic interference (EMI) from radio, TV, radar, and other EMI emitting devices.
