For almost one hundred years now, ninety-eight to be exact, Hampton University has been pleased to bring to you this interdenominational conference of praise, prayer and proclamation. We are pleased to welcome you to our campus, extend great hospitality and offer Christ through the excellence and power of His redeeming Word with songs and psalms of worship and praise. This registration brochure presents just a few highlights of the coming conference to be held June 3-8, 2012. Conference 2011 was an incredible experience. We stood with a mighty cloud of witnesses knowing that this august body of believers (full of the solemn splendor of our God) certainly did not leave the way we came. By all accounts, the many phone calls and personal handshakes accompanied by holy hugs, God’s men and women were blessed, edified and renewed. Her messages awaken hearts and minds to consider the intimacy and intensity of God. Alicia Britt Chole is the Founding Director of Leadership Investment Intensives and The 7th Year, two unique opportunities to invest in the leading generation. In 2010, Alicia launched Rest Inn Rivendell, a mentoring and retreat home dedicated to rest and renewal in Branson, Missouri. Today, Alicia Britt Chole and her fun-filled tribe of five live in the country off a dirt road in a home devoted to reflection and writing. A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Bishop J. Delano Ellis, II currently serves as senior pastor of the Pentecostal Church of Christ in University Circle in Cleveland, Ohio. Ellis is recognized throughout Ohio, the United States and beyond as one of the leading Fathers in the Holiness Pentecostal Community. He is the founding general overseer of the Pentecostal Churches of Christ. In addition, he serves as president and chair of the Joint College of AfricanAmerican Pentecostal Bishops’ and was elevated to the dignity of Archbishop-Metropolitan with spiritual and administrative oversight to bishops and overseers within the Joint College. His emphasis is on effective Holiness preaching and devout personal lifestyles among his ministers and the flock. He is married to Pastor Sabrina Joyce Ellis and is the proud father of six children and grandfather to 21. Bishop Jerry W. Macklin, a native of San Mateo, California, and founded Glad Tidings Church of God in Christ, in Hayward, California in 1978. Bishop Macklin’s ministry in the Church of God in Christ, Inc. has spanned more than three decades. He has served as a member of the National Publishing Board and Superintendent of the International Sunday School Department. Under the Leadership of Presiding Bishop Charles E. Blake, the Church of God in Christ ministers in 59 countries around the world. Bishop Macklin’s recent episcopal assignments include: Nigeria, Brazil, Germany and currently, the Republic of Haiti, where he is overseeing numerous building projects including the COGIC Orphanage and Medical Center. Through publications, media, seminars, and conferences, Bishop Macklin’s global ministry touches people around the world. Bishop Macklin is married to Vanessa Wells Macklin of Portland, Oregon (his wife of 37 years) they are blessed with two sons, three daughters and four grandchildren. VAUGHN MODERATOR Main Stage Presenters Bishop Noel Jones attended St. Jago High School and went on to attain a Bachelor of Science degree in Theology from Aenon Bible College. At the age of twenty-six, Bishop Jones accepted his first pastorate at Bethel Temple of Longview in Longview, Texas. In June of 1994, Bishop Noel Jones was chosen to succeed the venerable Pastor Robert W. McMurray as Shepard to approximately 1,000 members of Greater Bethany Community Church in (South Central) Los Angeles, California. During his tenure, in 2003, a new edifice was acquired in Gardena, California, now known as the “City Of Refuge”. Bishop Jones has traveled across the world, preaching, lecturing, teaching, encouraging and strengthening the faith of people across the globe from Los Angeles to New York, London & Africa. In 1994, Bishop Jones founded Noel Jones Ministries with the primary focus of spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ through the Word via media resources. Bishop Jones’s broadcast, “Fresh Oil” airs at various times on many of the Christian broadcasting networks. He resides in Los Angeles and is the proud father of three children: Noel II, Tifani, and Eric. Dr. Jasmin W. Sculark is a native of the Island of Trinidad and Tobago. She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at a very early age and shortly after accepted God’s calling upon her life and went into full time ministry. She received her license to preach the Gospel on February 4, 1992 at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Washington DC and was ordained in July 1999 at the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Sculark is the Senior Pastor of the Shiloh Baptist Church in York, Pennsylvania and founder and president of The Daughter of Thunder, ministries. Sculark is a graduate of the Practical Bible College in Vestal, New York and Washington Bible College in Lanham, Maryland. She received her Master in Theological Studies from the Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio. In December 2007, she received her Doctor of Ministry Degree from the United Theological Seminary, in Dayton Ohio. CNN named Rev. Samuel Rodriguez, “The leader of the Hispanic evangelical movement”. The Wall St. Journal has identified him as one of America’s seven most influential Hispanic Leaders, and the only religious leader on the list. Meanwhile the San Francisco Chronicle described Samuel as one of the 6 leaders of the new evangelical leadership. By God’s Grace, Rev. Samuel Rodriguez stands today as Americas voice for Hispanic Christianity. Rev. Rodriguez is the current president of The National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference (The Hispanic Evangelical Association), America’s largest Hispanic Christian Organization with 30,621 member churches. Rodriguez leads an organization identified as the Hispanic faith leaders in support of life, family, the great commission, stewardship, education, justice and youth. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of some of America’s leading evangelical organizations such as: Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, National Association of Evangelicals, Empower 21 and Christianity Today. Rodriguez is also the recipient of the Martin Luther King Jr. Leadership Award presented by the Congress of Racial Equality. He is an Assemblies of God ordained minister since the age of 23. In September of 2010, Rev. Rodriguez was called to start a multi-ethnic, Christ centered, spirit-filled, Bible based church in Sacramento, California, where he resides with his wife Eva, celebrating 21 years of marriage.
