We have run twelve tours to Europe. Please do enquire about
our BYFA 18/20 Day Tour to Europe which departs Wednesday 19th November 2014. Our 2013 European Tour was a
huge success, with 30 Players attending.
Due to the growth of our camps in the past 9 years from
250 to 500 players, it is important to keep a check on our
web site for any changes and or updated information.
Wet Weather
It is important to check our web site for information
regarding indoor venues if there is wet weather during the camps. If we are required to go indoors due to
wet weather there will be a $5 levy per person.
If there is rain during the camps please check the
web site for venue changes.

All players are required to wear a Sheffield United
strip. If you received a training kit in 2011/12/13, you
do not have to purchase another.

Camp Information
Brisbane Youth Football Academy will be staging our 9th
successive Sheffield United FC coaching camps here in
Brisbane during the June / July school holidays.
With the success of our Brisbane camp’s over 500 players
attending each year.
All players, including goal keepers, aged between U6 and
U17 are welcome.
The camps will be run over 5 consecutive days for 3 hours
per day.
Highly qualified professional coaches from Sheffield and the
UK will attend the camp to pass on their knowledge and
experience to camp participants.
Players will receive:
15 hours of intensive training
Sheffield United training kit which
contains socks, shorts and a playing shirt.
Camp Coaches
David Chatwin
A professional UEFA ‘A’ licensed coach David has worked for 3 years
with the Qatar U13-U16 National Players in the Aspire Academy. Also 5
years with the Charlton Athletic Academy as Assistant Academy Manager. David brings a wealth of experience, this is an excellent opportunity for players attending to help with their development.
Luke Fedorenko
A professional UEFA ‘B’ licensed coach, Luke coaches in the Sheffield
United Academy. His experience will benefit all our young players attending the camps.
John Reid
A highly experienced Brisbane coach , AFC ‘B’ Licensed. John’s wealth
of experience includes working with the Manchester United Academy
and their Development program.
Brian Hastings
A highly experienced Brisbane Coach, AFC ‘B’ Licensed. Brian is presently coaching North Star 1st Team in the BPL. Previously was Director
of Coaching a Rochedale FC for 6 years. His vast experience adds to
the Quality of our Coaching Staff.
Sheffield United Camp certificate
All players must bring:
A water bottle, Shin pads, Football boots, Sunscreen
and a hat. If we go indoors, to wear runners or indoor
boots.
A Good Attitude
Goal Keeper Coaching: will be held at our Peninsula Power
FC, Venue: Ages U9 to U17 please write on the registration form or
email if you are a Goal Keeper

extensively to Europe to visit many Academies to witness and evaluate

Terms and conditions
I agree to meet the costs associated with participation in any of the
2014 Sheffield United Camps including camp fees, costs of illness,
injury, accident or unforeseen circumstances which may occur during
the period of the camps in which my son or daughter participates.
I will not hold “Brisbane Youth Football Academy” or any of the
coaches participating in any camp session responsible for any injury,
accident or unforeseen circumstance endured by my son or daughter
while participating in any camp activities, or while in the care of the
“Brisbane Youth Football Academy”, or its staff or coaches. I will allow
the coaches to perform their role without interference in accordance
with Football Australia coaching ethics. I understand that, in the event
of bad weather, venues may be moved to indoor centres, and that
there will be an additional charge of $5.00 per day. Running shoes or
indoor boots are required if activities are transferred to indoor venues.
Venues are subject to change. Players are required to wear their
Sheffield United Kit through out the Camp.
Please note for early Registration
All players who register early and pay in full before the, 30 May 2014
late registration, will receive the Original Sheffield United, home/Away
Playing shirt, with their ordered kit.
