These investments enable the company to further plan ahead; as the dominant leader of superior quality, tailor-made products in the local woodworking industry. 7 Whatever the dimensions of a customer’s kitchen, Prima Kitchens cabinets fit perfectly. After all, rooms are rarely a standard, exact length, width or height so Prima Kitchens ability to make bespoke cabinets to precise dimensions eliminates awkward gaps or wasted corners. This means that every millimetre of space in a kitchen is put to good use, for an enjoyable relaxing cooking and living environment. The fundamental responsibilities of the design department involve the creation of functional, innovative and up-to-date products, while cautiously monitoring the market and the current trends. Frequent visits to international exhibitions in countries abroad, further inspire the department to offer customer oriented solutions that best respond to the needs of modern living. All client orders are designed and presented in three-dimensional renderings, which enable realistic representation of the final outcome. This allows the company to reinsure that all customer requirements have been met to the fullest potential while enabling the customer to understand the possibilities of further optimisation. Many customers are looking for tailor-made solutions and the team always makes sure that all ‘custom-made to measure’ projects are given the required attention. All Prima Kitchens are made to order, therefore all kitchens look different. Nonetheless, each one begins its life the same way – with a blank sheet of paper; the customer’s vision and the designer’s inspiration and talent. As a result, the finished kitchen is a true reflection of an individual’s needs and personality. Production Process The production process initiates from the sales department. The client in consultation with the seller decides on the final design of the kitchen cabinet or any other structure. Once the project is digitally finalised using specialised design software, the project is presented to the client. Upon approval, a contract is signed between the company and the client; further specifying the type of materials, the design aspects, time frames of completion and any other aspect related to the project at hand. The responsible technician prepares and forwards production forms to the production team. The production manager allocates responsibility and tasks to the various departments and proceeds with monitoring and controlling the production procedures involved. It is not an easy task trying to match styles and trends with new furniture in an existing interior layout of a house, and that’s why the personal approach is essential. Particular angles, sizes, colour schemes and materials are what these customers desire, and Prima Kitchens always manages to respond to these demands. The growing number of customer referrals confirms the excellence in our team of experts, providing in this way another competitive advantage to the company. The last step is the assembly and integration of the product that is made by the assembly department in collaboration with the quality control team. Having checked that the product complies with the order, then it’s ready for delivery. Made To Measure Superior Quality Products 8 Quality Control Procedures The high quality standards set by the company, demand consistent attention throughout the various production processes. The Quality Control Department was formed with the sole responsibility of thoroughly applying the quality control tests to all products, prior to delivery. Upon completion of any product (kitchen, cupboard or any other structure) the assembly team will set it up to its final form. This process is taking place in a particular part of the factory, exclusively dedicated to finished products; protecting them in this way from potential damages inside the factory unit. The team will confirm if the product is in accordance with the plan agreed with the client, examine its condition by applying the tests and deciding whether the product is ready for delivery. In case of a malfunction or even a single scratch the product is instantly repaired. The quality standards are strictly applied in order to meet highest quality and maximum customer satisfaction.
