The golf schedule is now set for both Monday and Thursday to be played at Sunland
Springs. Start time is set for 7:51AM, so please be on time or earlier; that way we can
start play as soon as possible. Thanks. Jim Sloot 480/396-8904
SHUFFLE BOARD
The shuffleboard court is ready for play. Adults are always welcome to play at any
time. The annual VRG/CS doubles games will begin in January. A sign-up sheet will
be posted in December. We will again have a team in a league with other parks. League
play begins the first Thursday in January at 1:30PM. All shuffleboard players new or
experienced are welcome to play. Larry Bartelheimer 480/474-2032
SUMMER BINGO REPORT
This year we had the best year yet for Summer Bingo. Due to putting a coupon in the
Bingo Bugle, we averaged over 130 players each week. I thank all the summer volunteers for their excellent work. We need more residents to step up and volunteer for the
bingo tables, and the bingo kitchen. Bingo brings in a lot of revenue that helps pay for
many things for this Association. Please be generous with your time and volunteer. It is
only a few hours on Friday. You can help with the afternoon or evening session. Thank
you in advance for your response. Dave Trottier, Manager 602/743-3129

RETURN TO SENDER
Dogs are wonderful creatures with one major flaw - but they refuse to pick up after
themselves. This is an age old challenge for all concerned. In some locations, the evidence
that is left behind on someone else’s property; is gathered up and returned to said offending
pet owner as “Lost Property, Return to Sender”. Please, lets all be responsible pet owners
and community residents and pick up after our own pet, so someone else does not have to.
Everyone Thanks You and We All Benefit.

Garden Gazette
The December Garden Gazette will be the last one delivered to each home. January and
later can be picked up at the clubhouse in a box outside the door to the office.
We will still mail to resident/owners that are not here in Mesa.
Any resident/owner that has a computer and an internet connection can read the Garden
Gazette on our web site. (http://vrgcs.org).
To view the financial statements you need to have set up a pin number to access the owners
section of the web site.
Pool
Our pool heater has recently been turned off. We did not have our cover for the pool. The
cover is supposed to arrive Wednesday November 26, 2014.
At that time we will turn the heater back on.
If no one volunteers to uncover and cover the pool, it will remain closed.
The cover should not be removed before the outside temperature reaches 70 degrees. It
should be covered again before sunset.
