NNSA Leadership Project Internship Program Are you interested in the management and security of the nation’s nuclear weapons, nuclear nonproliferation or naval reactor programs? Are you a college student majoring in Social Sciences, Business, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math? If so, you should apply to the NNSA Leadership Project Internship Program. The NNSA Leadership Project offers PAID 10-week internships to undergraduates majoring in Social Sciences, Business, Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Positions are located in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and at NNSA field offices, laboratories, and manufacturing plants in Albuquerque, NM; Kansas City, MO; Livermore, CA; Los Alamos, NM; Las Vegas, NV.; Amarillo, TX; Aiken, SC; and Oak Ridge, TN. Students receive a generous stipend, housing, and travel expenses to and from the internship site . Eligibility Requirements: U.S. Citizenship Must be a current undergraduate enrolled full-time at an accredited college/university in the U.S. or U.S. territories for the 2014-2015 academic year Minimum cumulative GPA 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) Must be pursuing a degree in business, finance, communication, journalism, computer science, education, engineering (chemical, computer, civil, electrical, environmental, industrial, mechanical and nuclear), health related disciplines, human resources, information technology, mathematics, science (biology, geology, chemistry and physics) Must be at least 18 years of age Must be able to pass a security clearance To Apply: Email the following documents to federalprograms@hsfinstitute.net by 12:00 noon EST on December 15, 2014 a resume that includes your full name, mailing address, email address, day and evening telephone numbers (with area codes), the name of your university/college, expected graduation date, GPA, and U.S. citizenship status your most recent transcript (may be unofficial) a one-page cover letter explaining why you wish to participate in the program Incomplete applications or applications submitted after the deadline will not be reviewed.
