Our monthly newsletters with
trip information will be
available for pick-up the
1st Tuesday of each month
by10am. Monthly
Newsletters will be mailed
and emailed to AGAC
members but if you can
pick yours up, please do.
The first day to sign up
for trips for the upcoming
month will be on the
Monday following.
The date to
register for Feb. will be
Monday, Jan. 6
You may register for the
whole month by using a
credit card, exact cash,
or check made payable
to the City of Alpharetta
for the day trips.

Some trips require
payment in advance.
Please be sure to
include payment when
signing up for these trips.
Unless we have a tour
scheduled, the bus can
wait on you for 10 min.

Trip fees will be
processed through the
City of Alpharetta
You may pay by check,
exact cash, or credit
card.
Advance payment trips
will have a $5.00
processing fee if
cancelled. Refunds
will be issued from the
City. If the trip is cancelled by us, then no

processing fee will
apply.
Trips with prepaid
tickets are
non-refundable unless
a replacement is

120,000 sq ft museum houses the largest permanent exhibition space for Western Art in the country. We will visit the
museum and then go to lunch afterwards at Appalachian Grille. You may pay by credit card, check payable to the City of

DINNER CLUB, leaving at 5pm, $8 + dinner out. This month’s restaurant will be Burnt Fork BBQ

COLLECTOR’S CLUB TO ELLIJAY, leaving at 9:30am. $6 + lunch out, (45 min. away). Experience
antiquing in North GA with is many antique and specialty shops and unique restaurants. You may pay by credit card,

*HARRAH’S TO GAMBLE IN CHEROKEE, NC. We will leave at 7am and be back at 7pm. The cost
is $40 per person, and you will receive a $25 gambling voucher in return. Don’t forget your picture ID! Make check

Tues Jan. 13
New program! “PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE” with Jim Zoeller, 1pm. Come play our version
of “Jeopardy”. The theme is “All Things American” from Presidents to comedians, generals, to famous women,
revolution to Vietnam. Enjoy some comradery and some laughs; and maybe win a medal! We will offer a new
presentation each month. Jim has many topics of interest selected so come and join us!
Wed. Jan. 14
SHOP AT HAMRICK’S IN ANDERSON, SC, $6.00 “Shop til you drop”! We will leave at 8am and
not return until around 5 or 6pm. You may pay by credit card, check payable to the City of Alpharetta, or exact cash.
This trip will be all day not returning until around 6pm.
Thurs. Jan. 15 *GEORGIA AQUARIUM, Leaving at 9:30am, $40. Includes exhibits, 3D Wondershow, and Dolphin Tales
Show. With more than 10 million gallons of water and more aquatic life than found in any other aquarium, you are sure

QUILTING BEE, 9:30-12noon. For all levels or new quilters. This wonderful program will be
presented by the Chattahoochee Evening Stars.

*Menopause, the Musical at the Strand Theater in Marietta. Leave at 1:30pm, $48, no meal out.
COME JOIN OUR SISTERHOOD! This hilarious musical parody staged to classic tunes from the '60s, '70s and '80s will have
you cheering and dancing in the aisles. See what millions of women worldwide have been laughing about for over 10
years! Set in a department store, four women with seemingly nothing in common but a black lace bra on sale, come to
find they have more to share than ever imagined. The all-female cast makes fun of their woeful hot flashes,
forgetfulness, mood swings, wrinkles, night sweats and chocolate binges. A sisterhood is created between these diverse
women as they realize that menopause is no longer The Silent Passage, but a stage in every woman’s life that is perfectly
normal! This is for men too! We should return by 6pm.

Wed. Jan. 21
MOVIE DAY!, 1:30pm. This month feature will be The Fault of Our Stars a drama and a romance
film featuring Shailene Woodley, Ansel Elgort, Nat Wolff, Laura Dern, Willem Dafoe. A teenage girl stricken with cancer
falls for a boy in her support group and the two form a bond as they deal with their illnesses.
Thurs. Jan. 22
MILLENNIUM GATE MUSEUM TOUR OF WINSTON CHURCHILL, “The Art of Diplomacy”.
Leaving at 9:30am, $18 + lunch out at Atlantic Station. More than 30 paintings by Churchill, many never been publicly
exhibited. You may pay by credit card, check payable to the City of Alpharetta, or exact cash. We should return by
3:30pm.
Mon. Jan. 26
AN ARMCHAIR VISIT TO THE ALSACE REGION OF FRANCE. Join for another wonderful
presentation of France presented by Val Areias and Pat Chai PC Productions. The history, the culture, the scenic points
of interest, and the cuisine. 1pm

BINGO, 10am-12noon, $1 per person + bring a snack to share.
Thurs. Jan. 29
HIKING CLUB - Location to be announced. Bring a sack lunch. This day trip is $5 per person.
