Just in Time
A few years ago while touring the Hyundai
plant, I was interested to learn of how suppliers ship
parts to the plant. The tour guide referred to
“J.I.T.” (Just In Time). In other words, rather than storing a large inventory of parts on site, the parts were
brought to the plant J.I.T. (Just In Time).
I began to wonder about God’s timing in our
lives. We all know that God’s timing is not our timing,
but have you ever felt that maybe He works in J.I.T.
timing? God is never late, sometimes early and often
J.I.T.
In Galatians 4:4 we read, “But when the time
had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman . . .”
When the world was darkest, God sent his Son, Jesus
J.I.T. On that first Christmas night God’s help, hope and
love arrived in the form of a baby boy J.I.T.
You see it was not mankind’s goodness that
compelled God to act, rather mankind’s need. What
about your life today? As you approach yet another
Christmas Day, what needs do you have? Will you turn
those needs over to Jesus, allowing Him to perform His
miracle working timing in your life? He is ready to
meet your need, just in time.
In Christ,
Kenny
