Our technologies and services are field-proven throughout Russia. Compact™ tools logged a problem well in MotarySteerable™ system increased ROP by more than DwC™ system saved despite poor hole conditions with continuous rotation of rig time 22 HOURS 30% After failed runs from a competitor, Weatherford deployed Compact wireline tools via the Assure™ drop-off conveyance method. The technology enabled the operator to obtain high-quality logs without tripping the drillpipe, which reduced nonproductive time. In two wells an operator sought to improve drilling performance over that of nearby baseline wells. Using the MotarySteerable system, the rate of penetration (ROP) increased by 30.6% in well 1 and 35.9% in well 2, which saved rig time and enhanced operational efficiency. Location: Perm Region Location: Buzuluk 24 HOURS Weatherford deployed the drillingwith-casing system and Defyer™ DT drillable casing bit to reach total depth (TD) in a well with fluid-loss and hole-stability issues. The system drilled through the permafrost section in a single trip and reached TD in 3 days, which eliminated nonproductive time, saved 24 hours of rig time, and improved hole quality. Premium liner-hanger system reached TD of ZoneSelect ® system increased production by in an ultra-extendedreach well in four horizontal wells 8,500 m Weatherford deployed the premium rotating WPHR linerhanger system to safely reach total depth (TD) in three of the longest ultra-extended-reach wells in continental Russia. In all three wells, the operation reached TD, which ranged from 7,274 m to 8,500 m, with zero nonproductive time. Red Eye ® 2G water-cut meters saved 30% ~3 MILLION RUR An operator deployed the ZoneSelect fracturing completion system and Fraxsis® annulus swellable packers to isolate and fracture the 500-m openhole producing zones in four wells. The operation increased production by an average of 30 percent to 62 tonnes per day. An operator transformed a producing field from manual water-cut sampling to the automated, noncontact RedEye water-cut measurement system. The tool reduced technician presence at the wellsite, which enhanced safety and saved 3 million RUR. through automated sampling Location: Tyumen Region Location: Western Siberia Location: Yamalo-Nenetsky Autonomny Okrug © 2012–2014 Weatherford. We continue to focus on initiatives that strengthen our culture and empower our people to be their best. Defining Service Quality Human Resources We have an ISO-certified integrated management system that defines all of our core processes. Our system requires that we report all the jobs we undertake and all incidents that occur into the Weatherford Performance Tracking System (WPTS). This enables us to identify the causes of incidents— and where we can take action—so that we may better understand our performance. By conducting frequent management reviews of our processes, we aim to continuously improve. We are committed to keeping our clients informed of our performance and improvement activities. While effective management of human resources begins with hiring talented individuals, it does not end there. We recognize the integral role training and competence assurance play in our ability to meet client objectives and to ensure the safety of our personnel. To that end, we provide our personnel with extensive technical and QHSSE training at facilities in Russia and outside the country. We also use a competence assurance program to evaluate the knowledge and skills of employees on an ongoing basis and a human resource management system— EMPLOYEEconnect—to EMPLOYEE track personnel training connect Your future. Our company. One Weatherford. and competency. Our Commitment to Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environment Initiatives FOUR TENETS Waste | Water | Land | Energy 22 © 2012–2014 Weatherford. All rights reserved. The Weatherford HSSE system is enacted through our 8 GEMS and 4 TENETS. These programs define our core values and describe the steps we take in helping to protect our people, assets, and the communities in which we work. As a result of these programs, we continue to significantly reduce key performance indicators relating to our QHSSE performance. Through our security program, we assess risks to our people, plan for specific incidents, and have the resources and processes in place to quickly and effectively respond to emergencies. Product and Service Realization We are well equipped to assess the needs of our clients in Russia and to provide them with valueadded operational support. As well as possessing technical skills, our employees here—the majority of whom are Russian nationals— have a solid understanding of the local operating environment. Also contributing to our product and service delivery capabilities in Russia is a global jobs history database (part of the WPTS). It helps us develop and apply best practices in the field and identify personnel with experience relevant to specific operations. © 2012–2014 Weatherford.
