You are entitled to
FREE tuition if...
•You are aged 19-23 and do not have a first full Level 2
qualification i.e. do not have at least 5 GCSEs at grades A*- C.
However, you may need to pay any associated costs attached
to the course.
•You are aged 19-23 and do not have a first full Level 3
qualification i.e. do not have at least two A Levels or four
As Levels (or equivalent). However, you may need to pay any
associated costs attached to the course.
•You are aged 19 or over and are applying for a Level 2 (or below)
course and are in receipt of certain benefits (Job Seekers
Allowance, Employment and Support Allowance in the Work
Related Activity Group and Universal Credit). However, you may
need to pay any associated costs attached to the course.
•You are aged 19 or over and are applying for a Level 2 (or
below) course and are in receipt of other state benefits, are
unemployed and wish to complete training in order to secure
work. However, you may need to pay any associated costs
attached to the course.

If you require a fee waiver then you will be required to
complete a Self Declaration form.
If you are aged 24+ and are applying for a Level 3 or
Level 4 course then you may be eligible for a 24+ Advanced
Learning Loan.
24+ ADVANCED LEARNING LOANS
Student loans (to cover tuition fees) are offered for those who
are aged 24+ and are studying qualifications at Level 3 or
Level 4. The loan is only repayable once you are earning over
£21,000 per year and repayment is linked to how much you
earn rather than how much you borrow and will not effect

pass your details to the relevant curriculum
team who will contact you to take your
enquiry further. We don’t want you to waste
time completing the enrolment form at a
stage where it is not essential.

Brush up your English: Take up this opportunity to brush up and

ACCOUNTING
The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) is the most
highly regarded pre-chartered professional accountancy
qualification in the country.
ACCOUNTING

There are four levels. Level 1 is a short introduction to Accounting and Levels
2-3 are completed over one year. The Level 2 Certificate in Accounting is suitable
for those with limited bookkeeping experience. The Diploma Level 3 is ideal for those who have
completed the Certificate (or old Foundation stage), or possess a basic bookkeeping qualification
or have significant bookkeeping experience. If you want to enrol directly to this stage without
completing the Certificate level you will be asked to complete a basic bookkeeping test to ensure
you are ready for the Diploma Stage.
The Diploma in Accounting Project Level 4 is only suitable for those who have completed the
Diploma Level 3 or who have a UK degree in Accountancy.
Each AAT Level is assessed via a combination of course assessments and external computer
based online exams.
