We were asked to name and brand a medical-device incubation company seeking to seamlessly bridge the academic-marketplace divide. We first authored the name Alkamie Group to reflect the founders' innovation and everyday practicality of their life-saving products. The early Alchemists were curious seekers of truth and science, and the branding of Alkamie Group pivots off this historical connection. This VC-funded company aims to be a leader in the events and online registration space. As a portal going after millions of consumers, whether they are signing up for a marathon or buying tickets to a concert, the goal was to create a web design and marketing template that effortlessly and emotionally connected with its users. This brand appealed to a large audience due to its "retro" approach with a modern story unfolding behind it in digital media. Setting a brand into place for financial services requires placing into motion a feeling of both comfort and confidence in doing business with a company. Mindtouch led the way in this destiny-led process and along the way attracted some of the largest institutions, organizations, and companies, in the mix to partner with their collaborative genius. A brilliant Organic Chemist with a break-through oral formula, and a vision to take it to market.
