Rider/Handler needs to be a financial member of RASDEG Inc b. Rider/Handler needs to be a financial Equestrian Qld member c. Rider/Handler needs to be a financial “restricted” RASDEG member ($20) Riders to wear light coloured jodhpurs, with a T-Shirt or open Ratcatcher with sleeves. No Jackets, vests, or ties. EA rules apply for all equipment regulations, including helmets, gloves etc. Saddle cloths, dressage saddle cloth and numnahs of any colour or style are allowed. RASDEG Inc reserves the right to transfer any exhibit from any class to another. RASDEG Inc reserve the right to reject any entrant for a single class or the whole event. Show Hunters are to compete in Show Hunter classes, and not eligible to compete in specific HACK classes & vice versa. Show Hunters should be presented in a Plain Bridle and Browband, in the spirit of the Show Hunter rules. Matching bridle and saddles are not required. Guidelines available from www.hunterhorses.com.au Show Hunters are required to Hand Gallop. Lead Line Classes – rider is restricted to compete in this ring ONLY and cannot compete in any other ring. (the Pony may compete in the Pony ring with another rider handler – classes will NOT be held waiting for a rider change) First Ridden –classes are for those riders who are true beginners that are just capable of riding off the lead (the Pony may compete in the Pony ring with another rider handler – classes will NOT be held waiting for a rider change) Newcomer- Not to have shown under saddle in the former 12 months (this includes hacking or dressage) Beginner – Restricted to horses that have not placed 2nd to 3rd at any hack event or agricultural show. Maiden – is a Horse that has never won a first prize as a hack at any hack show, and NOVICE is a horse that has not won an open championship at any hack show Pleasure classes to be ridden without spurs, whip or cavesson. Galloway & Hacks may be required to ride one handed. All non-RASDEG competitors’ must pay the Admin fee per horse. Each class numbered requires an entry ticket. Classes without numbering are free entry for those qualified. Stallions eligible to compete. EA guidelines for Stallion owners apply. A Judge is not compelled to allocate a first place in a class if the quality is not deemed acceptable. The Judges decision is final. Disputes should be made in writing to the Organising Committee for review. RASDEG Inc reserves the right to adjust the programme or running order at their discretion. The lodging of an entry form, and purchasing entry tickets is deemed acceptance of these conditions. Rider classes – no restriction on horse type Riders who are under the age of 18, must be under the direct supervision of their parent/ guardian at all times; Current ASA Helmet must be worn at all times while mounted on a horse, including warm up and parking areas. You may be required to provide proof your helmet is current AS/NZS 3838: 1998; Event run under EA rules and AHHA Guidelines; No dogs allowed on the grounds; Protests to be lodged with the appeal committee in writing and accompanied by $100, not later than ½ hour after the incident that gave rise to the protest; It is the competitor’s responsibility to ensure all equipment meets EA & safety regulations. If a competitor’s conduct or equipment in anyway compromises the safety of others, entry will be refused; As per EA rules, no electronic or rope yards are permitted at any RASDEG competition.
