TEF-2015 new organizing committee introduced
T
amilnadu Engineers Forum ( TEF), Kuwait is an
Association formed by the alumni Engineers from
Tamilnadu, India with a membership of around 500
Engineers residing in Kuwait.
TEF, in line with its goals and objectives, organizes
Conferences, Seminars for continual enhancement of
Technical knowledge and skill, there by establishing as a
leading Professional organization in Kuwait. TEF provides
an excellent platform for the companies to address all the
members in the exclusive events organized every year. TEF
also organizes family events like May Fair, Cultural programs, Picnic and Sports day exclusively for their members.
Organizing committee for the year 2015 is introduced
on TEF-2014 Valedictory function held at AIS (American
International School) auditorium on 31st Dec 2014. New
General Secretary N Rajendrakannan, introduced the TEF 2015 Organizing committee.

President C.Rajan recollected the history of TEF and
pointed out that the Engineers from Tamilnadu have not
only a rich cultural heritage but have inherited the
Scientific and Engineering excellence from the ancient
Tamil civilization. Thanjavur Peria Kovil which has 216 feet
tall Vimanam and Kalasam weighing 80,000 kilo (built
before 1000 years) stands today as a testimony for our rich
Engineering expertise. He asked the members to be proud
of being a TEFian and sought their support for the growth
of the Organization. TEF looks forward to having the continued support from all the Indian Associations in Kuwait
and other communities in Kuwait.
‘PRAYAAN’ brigade to perform at
KVGCEAA anniversary ‘X-Storm’

Association in Kuwait is in the final stages of celebrating their 10th Anniversar y on Fr iday,
January 30, 2015, at the American International School,
Maidan Hawalli, from 6pm onwards.
“The celebration titled as “X-Storm 15”, shall feature
the first ever performance of rocking band “Prayaan” in
Kuwait”, the organizers said in a press meet here. “The
musical evening shall be a combination classical Rock
and Progressive Rock , by the emerging young
“Prayaan” brigade.”
“ The musical band, being the first of its kind in
Kuwait will create an extra ambience among the music
enthusiasts. And the entry to the show shall be restricted with invitation,” organizers added.
KVG College of engineering Alumni Association,
KVGCEAA, is a non-profit platform for the members
and families of those who studied in KVG College in
Sullia, Karanataka. Over the last 9 years, KVGCEAA has
been able to organize societal related activities focusing positively on the Indian expatriate community in
Kuwait, President M anoj Naliath said. General

business delegation from Kuwait met with Shri Narendra Modi and felicitated him at the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas
2003 in Delhi, when Shri Modiji was Chief Minister of Gujarat. The meeting was held at an exclusive reception hosted by leading industrialist and steel magnate, Lakshmi Niwas Mittal. After listening to the progressive views and
