Grievance redressal
Grievances are either represented to the principal or posted in writing in the
mechanism for
Green Box kept in the lobby for the purpose. The Redressal Committee will
faculty, staff and
review the grievances and, if they are minor, they will be settled by a smaller
students
group within the larger committee (usually senior faculty) through
discussion/negotiation. Serious grievances (the degree of severity will be
determined by the Committee) will be investigated by a sub-committee within
the Grievance Redressal Cell and a decision/settlement will be reached by the
principal on the basis of the report of the sub-committee within a month from
the date of submission of the report or the earlier. Critical matters will be
deliberated on and decided by the full committee. There was, however, on
necessity for such a meeting. The Tutor-Ward System is another arrangement
by which all educational, emotional, health and domestic problem are
identified and suitable counsel or other forms of help offered immediately.
Any health problem is referred to the hospital close by. The exit meeting held
annually for the final years is helpful source of feedback. These help
prevention of grievances.
