About Our School: Florence Hill School has served students in the Florence Hill community of Grand Prairie since 1900. The current building was built in 1990. The rich history of the area is showcased within the walls and displays of Florence Hill Elementary. Today Florence Hill serves 525 students in grades Pre-Kinder – Fifth. We have three CARE (Children with Autism and Related Exceptionalities) classrooms and we have a full day “Blended” PK which is blending general education students with special education students.
