RESUME
Bethanie grew up in the theatre taking on leading roles from as young as 5, where she was welcomed to the stage as Sandy (Grease), Little Red Riding Hood and Goldilocks.
From as early as she was able to hold a crayon, creativity was encouraged and Bethanie immersed herself in productions, musicals, dance performances and monologue skits: the
daughter of a Minister, the family were always on “stage”.
Formally trained in fashion design, dramatic art, dance, voice and piano, Bethanie honed an innate sense of style and confidence in her late teens. It was in her early twenties that she
ventured into the world of film, TVC’s and advertising – her transition came as naturally as her hair is strawberry blonde.
An adoration of foreign and classic film, eloquence and philosophy have driven Bethanie to pursue writing, producing and styling further to her work as a brand ambassador and art
director.
Since working with John Wood, Martin Sacks, Jodi Gordon and Steven Curry and following her redheaded comrades Ilsa Fisher, Nicole Kidman and Drew Barrymore in film, Bethanie Ashton
is an organic talent with eyes for film, modelling and production.
