Independent Accountants' Investment Counsel Inc. is an Ontario-based portfolio management firm with

financial planning services for private clients, corporations, estates, foundations, and individual pension
plans. We are currently recruiting for an Associate Financial Planner to join our team of professionals to

As a member of IAIC’s growing Financial Planning team the Associate Financial Planner will report to the
Vice President, Financial Planning and have the opportunity to assist with the design, development, and
delivery of integrated financial planning and wealth management solutions for the clients of IAIC’s member
firms.
The Associate Financial Planner will primarily report to work at our head office in Listowel, ON.
Responsibilities:

Gather background client data and complete data entry in financial planning software
Develop recommendations and identify areas of focus to assist clients in achieving their financial goals
Create, edit, and proof financial plans
Participate in discovery and presentation meetings as required
Assist in tracking financial planning caseload
Assist in the establishment of financial planning templates to be utilized by IAIC member firms
Complete research and prepare report packages as required by IAIC and member firms
Ongoing communication with member firms
Qualifications:

Post secondary education (accounting or financial planning focus preferred)
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
Experience with FP Solutions financial software (an asset)
Certified Financial Planner or willingness to obtain (an asset)
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as required
Good written and oral communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines
