COURSE OBJECTIVES At the conclusion of this educational activity, the participants should be able to: • Enhance their understanding of the current investigation, diagnosis and management strategies for common hematological diseases. This program will be of interest to: Family physicians, specialists, nurse practitioners, nurses, family medicine residents, physician assistants, pharmacists, and other allied health professionals. OVERVIEW The Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Bannatyne Campus Program for Family Physicians is designed to provide a wide range of timely and challenging topics relevant to an office based practice. Working closely with doctors and professional organizations across Manitoba, programs are designed to address current issues relevant to the needs and demands of physicians. These programs are flexible, accessible, innovative and responsive. Continuing Professional Development is committed to providing high quality educational programs to Manitoba physicians. The main program objectives are to enhance clinical competence and improve patient care. This series of courses will feature a combination of plenary sessions and panel discussions that will allow the participant an opportunity for interaction in a convenient, centrally located venue. The Bannatyne Campus Series offers approximately 40 hours of lectures and/ or workshops throughout the academic year commencing in early October and ending in June.
