The recently issued Guidebook for Audit Committees in Singapore (Second Edition) has recommended the
adoption of COSO Frameworks as the standard for effective internal controls and enterprise risk
management going forward.
As the COSO Frameworks is the only internationally recognized framework that integrates internal control
and risk management, the breakfast workshop offers participants a first-mover advantage to learn how the
COSO Frameworks can help their organizations raise levels of corporate governance, preserve long-term
enterprise value and facilitate effective fraud risk management.
First-of-its-kind Directors Workshop, supported by the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the
Treadway Commission (COSO).
Invitation
You are cordially invited to attend the first Directors Workshop on the COSO Frameworks in Singapore, to be
conducted by renowned COSO expert Keith Kawashima. This workshop, specially developed for Directors, CEOs
and CFOs, will provide an overview of the COSO Frameworks and how these fit governance and business
requirements in Singapore, and conclude with an interactive Q&A session. Participants will come away with a
better understanding of what it takes to implement the COSO Frameworks and the tools to check its
effectiveness in their organizations.
