Organised By: CONTROLLED RELEASE SOCIETY INDIAN CHAPTER While the development of NCEs demand huge investment of time and funds, it costs significantly less to develop new methods of administration of an existing drug. Hence, pharmaceutical companies have to strive hard under constant stress to maximize the full prospective of a drug candidate at an Supported By INSTITUTE OF CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY MUMBAI early stage of its life cycle. Drug resistance, latency of infection, newer infectious diseases, sudden epidemics along with increased incidence of cancer and life style diseases have set the pace for accelerated research in drug delivery strategies to Venue come up with newer more effective, practical and cost effective solutions. K. V. AUDITORIUM The focus of the 14th CRS-IC symposium is to provide a common INSTITUTE OF CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY platform to industry personnel, academicians, research scientists and MATUNGA (EAST), MUMBAI- 400 019 students to discuss various aspects of development and management of novel delivery systems including regulatory issues and business aspects. Topics like Quality by design and PAT would also be deliberated.
