The 16 quilts that were finished on Monday will be a huge blessing to those who need a warm blanket. You can see the finished quilts on the table in the social hall. Everything was delicious and very much appreciated!!! May God Bless you all! Cindy Hall Sewing Lessons Basic/beginning sewing lessons will be offered at Hopeful this winter/spring. The lessons will be a three part series on Sundays, Feb. 1, March 1, April 12 from 2-4 pm. Anyone ages 10/4th grade and up is invited to participate. If you decide to participate, you will learn basic sewing skills and construct simple items like a pillow, tote bag, purse, place mats, table runner, or apron. I have several spots I still need to fill. This is a great family event! Please let me know ASAP so I don't have to give our spots back. HOPEFUL HERO Our January Hopeful Hero is Matt Ryan. Matt has become the resident Hopeful chef and can be found in the kitchen at many of our events. Matt also services on council, serves on the Preschool Board, leads the Outreach team, sings regularly on song teams and in the seasonal choir. Matt enjoys working with youth and helped lead our youth on a mission trip a few years ago. Matt is excited about family fellowship opportunities and helped to create the family campout night this summer and he is always willing to lend a hand wherever needed. Be sure to take a moment this month to give Matt a pat on the back and a thank you!
