The decoding of several complex systems in Science and Engineering can be done by employing
Mathematical Analysis techniques. Signal Processing, Planetary motion, heat flow, relativity,
Quantum Mechanics, etc. are all well described
in the Mathematical Analysis setting and in the
process it unravels key physical and technological
facts as well. Differential and Integral Calculus, Operator Theory and Harmonic Analysis
Techniques are just some of the Analysis tools
employed for decryption. This Seminar explores
some of these Theories and Applications.
Dr. E. Krishnan, Former Professor and Head of
the Department of Mathematics, University College, will inaugurate the seminar and will deliver
the inaugural talk. The Faculty and Students of
the Department of Mathematics cordially invite
you to this National Seminar.
