At Prism, the health and safety of all people
working at or visiting our site is of paramount

We see to it that we explain to our workforce
the importance of site instructions, as all

of hazards which will change as the site

observing the mandatory safety standard

while inside the site. We make sure that our
workforce are made aware of the specific
requirement in risk assessment and method
statement where specific hazards are
identified, as well as areas of work that will
require specific authorization to proceed.
Such as permit to work or restricted areas
and the reason for the control measures in
place, making it clear the specific elements
of wide hazards that are appropriate to their
own work activities. These may include open

A very distinctive commercial development, situated opposite the Ras Al Khaimah
Hilton hotel and facing the gulf, with views across the creek and extending over
the mountains.
Prism Building Contracting have constructed one of the most recognisable and
stunning buildings in Ras Al Khaimah, in the shape of the RAPCO Building.
Al Thuraya Tower is a high rise commercial and residential building which
covers a total land area of 2,500 square metres and, over 30 floors, has a
finished area of around 432,000 square feet. The clients requirements were
to deliver a turnkey project to include all finishes and services.
Structurally, each level was cast using DOKA tables, formworks and post tension
slabs. Both vertical and horizontal elevations required deep foundation piles
and pile caps, following a successful de-watering exercise. This was only a
small part of our scope in a huge volume of works, which included finishes and
dŽcor delivered by a team of specialist, professional skilled labourers.

Covering an area of 90,000 square feet and consisting of 14 floors and a further
2 underground basement levels. From the Ôground upÕ we have used a range
of latest technology procedures required for de-watering, shoring, piling
and waterproofing.
From a flat, cast slab rising from the foundations are 14 levels finished to an
exceptional standard with high quality cladding to the elevations and luxurious
granite tiles on all floor surfaces.

The requirement from Prism Building Contracting was to construct 2 residential
complexes, totalling 20 double-storey villas, with high quality finishes, for our
local client.
Our project brief was to construct 2 residential buildings for the Yasmin Village
in a beautiful location facing the mountains of Ras Al Khaimah.
Initial construction began on a first stage of 12 villas, followed by a final stage
of 8 remaining properties. Both residential complexes required twin storey
isolated footing with flat, cast slabs.
Each completed building covered a finished area of 140,000 square feet, built
over 6 floors and with 10 flats on each floor. In addition to the high quality
finishes, this also included all soft and hard landscaping.
