If you had the class first semester and would like to continue with it, let Judy know. Also, if you haven’t taken it and would like to be in it for the first time, talk to Mr. Hungerholt about the schedule change. 10th-12th graders: schedule changes for next semester need to be in the office by Friday noon. If you have made a change in your schedule, stop by the office and pick up your new schedule tomorrow afternoon. Friday is the end of 2nd quarter/1st semester. There is no school next Monday due to a teacher work day. NHS Members: We are signed up to work at the Girls Basketball game on the 29th. We will need 2 shifts, one starting at 5:30 and one starting at the beginning of the varsity game (7:30 or so), an adult and two students needed for each shirt. . If you are not a basketball player, you are encouraged to work concessions. FFA BIG Team = you will have a lunch practice EVERY DAY this week with Emily, Sara & Mrs. Timm. FFA Small Animal & Fish & Wildlife Teams (who are NOT members of the BIG team) you will practice Friday in the Ag Room during lunch!!! FFA Members = REMEMBER our Chapter Bowling night is TONIGHT - Thurs. Jan. 22nd at Travel Lanes from 3-5pm (need to get there and bowl fast as Mrs. Timm has to leave due to a commitment). Cost is $6 for 3 games of bowling and shoe rental. **Stop down and sign up your 3-person team on the board in the Ag Room!!! The L-O FFA will again be doing the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics on Sat. Feb. 14th in Rochester – stop down and get information from Mrs. Timm ASAP for getting registered and start collecting pledges. Seniors = your class t-shirts have arrived and you each owe $20 for your shirt. Pay Mrs. Timm $20 and you can get your shirt by this Friday, Jan. 23rd!!! Seniors: Pay attention to some upcoming deadlines for scholarships. o Media Com (must live in service area – LeRoy is included) for $1000 is due on 2/15 o Young Women in Public Affairs Award - $1000 deadline is 2/15 o Acen-Tek – (Ace Communication) – must have Acen-Tek as your provider – 3 different scholarships $1000 – due 2/23. o Therese Halbach Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1000 is due on March 1. o Others due in March and April are American Legion Auxiliary, Mower County Farm Bureau, NAWIC, POET Refining, & Clean Air Choice Biodiesel Juniors & Seniors: The North Dakota State University rep will be here on Friday, Jan. 30 at 10:30.
