It was a year full of new experiences ( SPACE staff multiplied by 3, new premises and high-level project management) that have made us stronger and ready for the challenges of tomorrow. This growth was achieved by a highly motivated team and would not have been possible without your trust and active support. We are committed in 2015 to do more and better in improving the industrial performance of the entire European Aerospace supply chain . My best wishes for happiness and success in the coming year 2015. Eric Fanio, Project Manager at SPACE for "Performances Industrielles": "Today we have more than 200 SMEs committed to the project (out of the 400 planned) as well as 34 prime contractors. We are able to measure the first lot of promising performance improvements (delays, quality and lateness) in connection with the actions deployed. The level of commitment of both cluster heads and SMEs reported by SPACE facilitators and consultants is remarkable. I want to thank all those who have helped to achieve this initial result. " December 2014: 34 clusters 202 SMEs What are the goals for 2015? "We are in line with expectations, but with Jean Michel Poulier, project head for GIFAS, Christophe Cabaret, SPACE director, and members of the GIFAS steering committee for the project, we all agree that at this stage nothing should be taken for granted and that the challenge is still to come. In 2015 we will need to maintain a rampup similar to this years and will want confirmation that the qualitative results in terms of performance improvements and industrial maturity are in line with our forecasts.
