Gatorama
The Chamber welcomes back
Gatorama as new member! An
alligator farm, infrequently called an
alligator ranch, breeds and raises
alligators in order to produce meat,
leather, and other goods. While most
“alligator farms” feature alligators
and crocodiles solely as a tourist
attraction, Gatorama is Florida’s top
working alligator farm. For more

First United Methodist Church-Family Night Dinners
The First United Methodist Church will host a Family Night Dinner
every Wednesday night (Feb. 4, 11, 18 & 25) at 6 pm through March. A
donation of $8.00/person will be used to sponsor different missions for the

2015 Clewiston Junior Golf Instructional Program
This event takes place on Saturday, February 7, from 4-5 pm. Ages
6-17. Sign-up takes place before clinic at Putting Green. Golf clubs
available upon request. Cost: $10. Clean shirt tucked into pants or shorts,
golf shoes or athletic shoes, hats worn forward. For more information,

Dolly Hand Cultural Arts Center
The Doo Wop Project will take
place on Monday, February 9 at 7:30 pm at
the Dolly Hand Cultural Arts Center.
Throughout the show, DWP takes
audiences on a journey from foundational tunes. Tickets:

Harrison is a great story teller and true Florida Cracker that
shares life experiences about the ole Florida that no longer
exist. His heart warming tales have been well received by

School Scholarship Information
The meeting will be held at the King’s Academy
Auditorium on Monday, February 9 at 5:30 pm. Ideally,
this is a meeting for first-time scholarship recipients. Even
if your child is not currently enrolled, but you are looking
to enroll him/her in the fall and may need assistance with
scholarships you are encouraged to join us.
2015 Men’s Senior Club Championship
Have Fun on Tuesday & Wednesday, February 10
& 11! Start time is 9 am both days. The format is 36
holes (Low Gross) and (Low Net Full Hdcp). You must
have an established Hdcp unless playing in the (Low
Gross Division). Ages 50 years old & up. Sign-up in the

Clewiston Green Thumb Garden Club
The Garden Club will sponsor a Valentine Tea
Party on Saturday, February 14, 2015, at the First United
Methodist Church LEC from 11 am-1 pm. CHS Public
Safety Academy students, under direction of Kristine
Petersen, will present the program and assist with the Tea.
Door prizes will be given out and food servings will
include delicious desserts! Tickets are being sold by Club
members throughout the community and cost is $10 each
for adults and $6 each for children (age 12 or under).

Night Golf (Glow Ball) Tournament
Clewiston Country Club Annual Meeting
This event takes place on Saturday, February 15,
limited to first 44 players. 5:15 pm Food/6:15 pm Golf.
Format: 9-Hole Scramble (Shotgun Start). Sign-up in

Cost: $40 includes food, golf & glow balls.
Note: Bring flashlights!
The annual meeting is set for Tuesday,
February 24 at 7 pm. Please mark your calendar and plan

Lunch - On Saturday, February 21 the First United
OPEN INVITATION
Methodist Church will service lunch (1/2 chicken) for
$10/ticket. Lunch will be served from 11:30 am-1 pm.

On Tuesday, February 17, 2015 the Belle Glade
Campus of Palm Beach State College will host the
District Board of Trustees meeting in the Dolly Hand
Cultural Arts Theater lobby.
The meeting is open to the public from 4:00 p.m.
to 5:00 p.m. During this time, members of the community
will be able to hear updates and ask questions of our
Board of Trustees Members as well as Dr. Gallon. We
want to extend an invitation to all members of the Glades
communities to attend.

6th Annual Swamp Cabbage FestivalRanch Rodeo - The Ranch Rodeo will take place
on February 20-22, 2015 at the LaBelle Rodeo Grounds,
State Road 29.
Schedule: Feb. 20 at 7 pm; Feb. 21 at 12 noon: Open 4D Barrel Race $500 added; and at 6 pm.
