REGISTRATION and FEE
Dear Artist:
Enclosed please find the registration form for the
April 25 – 26, 2015 Valley Art Association - Fine
Art Faire at SpringFest to be held on the Northern
Wisconsin State Fair Grounds, 225 Edward Street,
Chippewa Falls, WI 54729
■ Send ONLY digital images of your work. You
may either submit your images on a DVD or CD
labeled with your contact information and mailed
with your registration and check or e-mail your
images to info@valleyartassociation.org with your
registration. If you e-mail your images please be
sure you send your check to the VAA address
before the deadline. Your images must be in
JPG format and no larger than 1MB each
(1000KB).
Exhibit Fee: $75
VAA Member Exhibit Fee: $65

■ Upon acceptance of your application, by the Review Committee, you will be notified via e-mail. If no e-mail address is available you will be notified via U.S. mail.

JURY PROCEDURE
The VAA Fine Art Faire at SpringFest is a juried fine
art fair. The art fair committee will follow a ‘juried’
exhibitor selection process.
■ If you are not accepted to participate in the Art Faire your registration fee will be returned to you.
We are looking for:
■ creative and fine art items created and produced by the artist who is exhibiting and selling them
■ Each applicant must pay an exhibitor fee. This is an artist fee, not a “booth” fee. If more
than one artist occupies an assigned 10’ x 10’
space, each artist must submit a fee of totaling
$75. (VAA Member fee is: $65)
■ unique and one-of-a-kind or high quality prints/reproductions of the original

APPLICATION DEADLINE
■ professional presentation of work
To be considered as an exhibitor you must submit: 1)a completed registration form
Deadline for submission of application, fee and
examples of your work is Sunday, February 1,
2015. Judging will take place February 2 - 10.
2)booth entry fee of $75
3)submit three (3) images of your work to be displayed in your booth. Images must be representative of the items you are selling
NOTE: The VAA reserves the right to dismiss exhibitors that misrepresent their work.

CANCELLATION POLICY
■ keep booths open until the end of the faire on
the last day.
A cancellation request postmarked on or before
April 6, 2015 will receive a full refund minus a $10
processing fee. A cancellation request postmarked
after April 6th will receive no refund.
■ be responsible for cleaning up their own space
and disposing of litter before leaving at the end of
the day. Please make every effort to recycle.
■ be responsible for collecting sales tax. To
obtain a Wisconsin Sales Tax Number contact:

EXHIBITORS WILL...
■ assure that all artwork is original in concept
and design by the exhibiting artist. Copyright
restrictions will apply. Artist reproductions must
be signed and of high quality.

■ be present to staff their own booth. The art
faire committee will not provide booth sitters.
VAA and SPRINGFEST WILL...
■ set-up from 12 noon - 4 p.m. on Friday, April
24 and 7 a.m. - 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 25.
■ provide up to 3 passes per day for admittance
into SpringFest for each artist and helpers.
NOTE: Please do not attempt to setup until
the committee has arrived and given you the
final booth assignment/location.
■ provide each exhibitor/co-exhibitor with
a space approximately 10’ x 10’ that is nontransferable.
■ be responsible for loading/unloading, setup/
take down, and for all materials and artwork.
Please supply your own display tables, shelving
and other display materials as needed. Canopies
are not needed as this is an inside venue.
■ provide morning coffee for exhibitors and their
helpers.
■ pick up confirmation of space assignments at
the Fine Art Faire Information Booth upon arrival.
■ provide an artist directory and map of the
grounds.
■ park in artist designated parking areas only.
NO PARKING next to the building, except for
loading.
■ provide for food items for purchase and a
place to eat on the grounds.
■ publicize the event locally, regionally, and
statewide through a variety of media and will
provide appropriate signage.
■ provide a basic First Aid station and lost and
found area.
