The Grand Executive Committee is pleased that you are interested in being a Grand Officer for 2015-2016. Those
who apply are expected to have a genuine interest in Rainbow, to support their own Assembly, to set a good
example for the members of all Assemblies, to memorize their ritual, and to be a credit to Rainbow and
Grand Assembly. Grand Officers will abide by the Rainbow dress code and wear the Grand Officer uniform to all
State-wide events; The Navy Blue polo top and khaki colored skirt no shorter than one inch above the knee. When
positions are filled, additional girls who try out will be appointed as Pages, Historian, and Grand Assembly RACOM Reporter.
(Girls on this Team will substitute at Grand Officers’ Nights and Grand Assembly, participate in Grand Cross of Color functions,
if eligible, and assist in other ways as well.) We look forward to welcoming you at Try-outs to be held at the Stoughton
Masonic Hall on Saturday, April 18thth, 2015.
Every P.W.A. may apply to be a grand officer for one, two or three years and try-out for G.W.A. after being a grand officer for
one year. A G.W.A. candidate is the only office that may be held during a fourth year as a Grand Officer. All other Grand
Officer positions are for first, second and third year candidates only. The eligible candidate as a grand officer must be under 21
years of age when installed at Grand Assembly.
Past Worthy Advisors, and Worthy Advisors serving from January – May/June 2015, may apply to Mom Torrey and the Grand
Executive Board for consideration as Grand Officers provided they do not reach their 21 st birthday on or before June 27, 2015.
Projects are held each year prior to the February Grand Officers’ Night to benefit the Benevolence, Rainbow Campership, and Scholarship
Funds. If one girl is representing her Assembly as Grand Officer/Special Grand Assembly Team Member/Grand Representative, she is expected
to turn in a minimum of $150.00; if two girls, a total of $250.00; if more than two girls are representing the Assembly, a total of $300.00. The
girls may have individual projects or work together, but in any case, they should have the full support of their Assembly.
Mother Advisors, Advisory Boards, and Grand Adults will have the opportunity to provide input for all girls trying out for office.
Completed application forms are to be mailed to Mom Torrey, by the applicant, by MARCH 1st, 2015. (Girls who are Past Worthy Advisors
