Camp Oradaca:

Soar to Boyd Conservation Area this summer! Connect with nature close to home in
this Outdoor Recreation Adventure Day
Camp filled with nature-oriented activities
led by a designated nature specialist, plus
sports, crafts and recreational swimming.
An overnight trip where campers go on a
night hike, sleep in tents and bond with
new friends, highlights this wilderness experience. Older campers prepare a campsite
complete with a campfire, tent, safety precautions and of course... food. Songs, stories, night hikes, dinner, breakfast, and special events make this an annual tradition!
Personal care and preparation for outdoor
adventure is taught throughout the program.
Note: The overnight trip occurs the second week of each session. Oradaca is an
outdoor program and campers 'weather'
the elements. During severe weather, programming relocates to Al Palladini Community Centre. Overnight programming
may be cancelled at any time. For sessions
A, B and C, the overnight takes place on
Thursday. The session D overnight is on
Tuesday. Due to safety reasons, special
needs campers who receive support during the day are required to be accompanied by their support worker (see eligibility criteria) for the overnight. Children,
including special needs participants, may
stay for the BBQ night, hike and camp fire
before being picked up and may return for
breakfast.

Go green at this eco adventure camp on the
scenic Maple Nature Reserve! Learn about
the impact human beings have on nature
through lessons about composting, wildlife
preservation and other environmental issues,
create your own eco-village and hike local
trails, then enjoy traditional camp stuff, like

Performing Arts
Camp Move 'n Groove Young dancers move and groove to jazz and
tap routines. Each dance day includes stretching, warm ups, primary dance classes and recreational dance, complemented by arts &
crafts, games, splash pad water play and special events. Children showcase their new
moves the second Thursday of each session
during a daytime recital for family and friends!

Young dancers take centre stage in this smash
hit camp. Campers develop fundamental
dance skills and cultivate a love of dance
through daily stretching, warm-ups, primary
dance classes, recreational dance and camper
choreography. Dance styles include hip hop
and jazz. Arts & crafts, games, swimming and
special events complement the dance component of this camp. All campers perform in an
evening dance recital the second Thursday of
the session at the City Playhouse Theatre. Participants will be grouped by age and dance
ability. Note: Previous dance experience is
not required. No performance in session E
