The Department of Physics, M.D. University, Rohtak is organizing National
Conference on “Applied Physics and Material Science “on Feb 5-6, 2015. The
aim of this Conference is to offer a forum for the exchange of new ideas and
realization of Physics concepts such as Instrumentation, nanotechnology,
Optoelectronics, Microwave & other related technologies. The Programme
includes invited talks by prominent Scientists & Oral/Poster paper presentation
by the participants on the theme of the Conference.
Authors are being invited for submission of Abstracts (Oral/Poster
Presentation).

About MD University
Maharshi Dayanand University established as Rohtak University, Rohtak, came
into existence by Act No. 25 of 1975 of the Haryana Legislative Assembly in
1976 with the objective to promote Inter-disciplinary, higher education and
research in the field of Environmental, Ecological and Life Science. During its
existence the university has achieved success in the academic pursuits,
expansion programs and infrastructure development. It was rechristened as
Maharshi Dayanand University in 1977 after the name of a great visionary and
social reformer, Maharshi Dayanand. The University secured the recognition of
University Grants Commission (UGC) for Central Govt. Grants in February 1983.
The university campus, spread over an area of over 665 acres, is well laid with
state of the art buildings and presents a spectacle of harmony in architecture
and natural beauty. It has 36 Departments, 10 Teaching blocks, 20 Hostels, an
elegant Vivekanand Library, Majestic Tagore Auditorium, Activity Centre,
Faculty House, Sports Stadium, Swimming Pool, Administrative Block, wi-fi
Campus Technology with High Speed Internet Connectivity.
About ISST
Intellectuals Society for Socio-Techno Welfare (ISST) was established in 2009
with a mission to build a globally accepted intellectual potential among the
youths, academicians and researchers. ISST’s vision is to become one of the
leading organizations, whose training programs and publications are globally
accepted. To give pace to its working, ISST undertakes aids, co-coordinates,
and augments research in various enumerated subjects of Sciences,
Engineering, Management & Social Sciences. It organizes Lectures, Seminars,
Conferences, Workshops, Training Programs and Audio-visual programs for
the students, academicians and working professionals.
Guidelines for Authors :
The authors may kindly submit abstract (not more than one page) with format
specifications: MSWord, font size-12, font type- ‘Times New Roman’ & line
spacing 1.5. A margin of 20mm on all sides should be provided. The abstract
may be submitted through email-physicsconferencemdu@gmail.com before
January 5, 2015. Abstract of all Oral/Poster presentation will be published in
Souvenir.

The author who want to get their work published may submit full length paper.
The manuscript/full length paper must not be more than six pages written in
MSword with font size 12 in ‘Times New Roman’ with single line spacing & paper
size- A4. After a peer review process selected papers may be considered for
publication in ISST Journal of Applied Physics [ISSN : 0976-903X].
Best Poster Award:
Selected poster from authors would be nominated for Best Poster Award.
Registration:
All participants should send duly filled registration form to the Convener,
Department of Physics, M.D. University, Rohtak along with the prescribed
registration fee as per mode of payment.

Accommodation:
Participants are expected to meet the expenses for accommodation on their own. Guest
house accommodation may be provided at the conference venue to a limited number of
delegates at a nominal cost. Room Charges in the city hotel vary from Rs. 1000 to Rs.
1500/- per day. Delegates requiring accommodation can contact the Convener/
