The Hafler HA15 is a solid state headphone amplifier that has been meticulously designed to produce
Hafler’s legendary sound quality with plenty of gain to power any type of headphone.
The design begins with a 14 gauge steel casing to shield the low level signals from external magnetic fields
and RF contamination. This is complimented with a black anodized aluminum front panel to add esthetic
appeal. Gold-plated input and thru-put RCA connector pairs are employed that will not tarnish over time,
thus optimizing signal flow. Inside, a low-noise amplification circuit has been optimized to handle all
types of headphone impedances from 8 Ω to 400 Ω. To keep noise to a minimum, the HA15 is powered
by an external supply.
To replicate the sound and feel of listening to loudspeakers in a typical space, a unique Focus control may
be engaged that brings the stereo image to the center. This adds excitement for the listener without loosing the stereo field. One merely connects the line output from a receiver, laptop or tablet to the HA15
and it delivers plenty of gain to handle the most demanding dynamic recordings.
Compact and ‘plug and play’ easy to use, the HA15 follows Hafler’s 50 year tradition of building the very
