The Sacrament of Reconciliation
Saturday 1:00 pm in Church or by appointment.
We, the people of St. Aloysius Parish, are united in one faith in Jesus
Christ and His Church. We are proud to be Catholic and express this faith
in the Roman Catholic tradition. As a local church, we encourage the
people already here to welcome those newly arriving to become a unified
and loving family of Christians. We provide for the continuing educational
and formational needs of our youth and adults. In this unity of faith, we
desire to evangelize, to inspire lay leadership and to nurture a sense of
ownership of mission and ministries that incorporate our multi-ethnic
traditions.

From the Pastor’s
Desk . . .
Dear Friends,
Today is Pledge Weekend for our Sharing God’s Blessings
Annual Appeal. This Annual Appeal meets the many and varied
needs of so many people in our Archdiocese and we depend so
much on your generosity and kindness to meet those needs.
This Annual Appeal provides funding for the following programs
and ministries: Catholic Education, Seminarian Education and
Formation, priest Retirement and Health Care Costs, Catholic
Charities, Campus Ministry, Youth Ministry and Parishes in the
Archdiocese of Newark.
Please prayerfully consider your pledge. If you missed the
opportunity to make your pledge today, kindly drop it off at the
Parish Office or use a Pledge envelope found in the Church
vestibule and drop it in the Sunday collection.
Because of your generosity, we are able to exceed our goal last
year. We received a rebate of $879 from 2014 Archbishop
Annual Appeal. Once again, we need your help to reach our
Parish goal of $42,086. We are a Stewardship Parish and we
generously and wholeheartedly return a portion of our gifts of
time, talent and treasure to the Lord, the source of all blessings.
God Bless,
Fr. Juancho

Thank you for your continued support &
generosity!!!
Stewardship Reflection
“Rising very early before dawn, he left and went off to a deserted
place, where he prayed. . . He told them, ‘Let us go on to the nearby
villages that I may preach there also. For this purpose have I
come.’” Mark 1:35,38
In today’s Gospel reading we see a perfect example of stewardship.
Jesus gives His time to do all that God wishes - healing the sick and
preaching. yet, Jesus also makes time to be alone in prayer. It is
through prayer, spending time with God, that we find the strength to
do what God wishes us to do. Be sure to find time every day to be
with God.
