If you are this person then you sound like someone we would love to recruit! We need

• be experienced in KS1 and have a track record of success

We are a very popular and vibrant 3 form entry primary school on the Hertfordshire/
Luton border. We have invested heavily to ensure that this is a quality learning
environment for the children and a wonderful workplace for the whole staff. We are
continually developing our culture so that we can embed excellence at all levels.
To ensure that the curriculum supports children’s learning we have developed a
thematic approach, driven by a whole school curriculum map for KS1 and KS2.
This ensures that strong links are made across and between subjects and that we have
a rigorous framework to ensure that there is breadth and balance. Since its inception
(in the summer of 2013), it has enabled children to produce work of exceptional
quality. Additionally, the children love this way of working and are enthused and
excited to come to school each day!
To help maintain and develop our strong aspirations, we have posed the following
question “Does this support children’s learning?” – If the answer is “No” then we
remove it. As a result, you as a teacher, are enabled to focus upon your core role –
quality learning outcomes for the children in your care. Our expectations of you
will be high but you will have the tools, the time and the support from your leadership
colleagues to enable you to meet these expectations.
We are blessed with having children who want to learn and enjoy their time in school.
