A One-Day Workshop: Person Centered Organizations
Sponsored by the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS)
Facilitated by the University of Minnesota's Research and Training Center on
Community Living (RTC)
This free workshop, designed for Home and Community Based Service (HCBS)
providers, focuses on how to create organizational change in order to become a more person
centered agency or facility. Participants will use an organizational development guide to help
identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to incorporate more effective person
centered practices.
Eight workshops are planned around the state.
They will be held from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at these locations:

Who should attend: One to four people from each organization who have responsibilities for
the planning and implementation of programming and services. These may include direct
service providers, supervisors, managers, and/or agency execs.
