Spread love everywhere you go:
First of all in your own house.
Give love to your children, to your wife or husband, to a next door neighbor…
Let no one come to you without leaving better or happier.
Be the living expression of God’s kindness;
kindness in your face,
kindness in your eyes,
kindness in your smile and
kindness in your warm greeting.

Administrators’ Message
Dear Students, Parents and Guardians,
The month of February represents the mid-point of the school year! The spiritual and
prayer focus for the month of February is Justice. The High School Information Day
for Grade 9 students is on Thursday, February 12th, Family Day on Monday,
February 16th, and Open House on Monday, February 23rd at 7:00 pm.
Did you know that St. Rose only has one feeder school, St. Paul School, from which
to draw students? Through parental referrals, and because of St. Rose’s outstanding
reputation, the remaining students come to us from all over the city. We thank you for
your on-going support and ask that you help us to continue to build on our school
success by referring St. Rose School to your family, friends and neighbors. They may
join us for our Open House!
We remind you, at this time, to review your child’s academic progress via
PowerSchool. If you have questions or concerns, please contact the teachers to
address them. Second Term Report Cards will be available electronically on Friday,
March 6.
Have a great February and memorable Family Day!
Mr. Barton Leibel and Mr. Sean Gregg

LATES
We have a number of students arriving late to school. Please ensure that
your son/daughter is here for the start of the day. They should be in
their homeroom by 8:20 am. Should they have a reason for lateness, i.e.
Appointment, they MUST sign in at the office before going to class.
Thank you for assisting us with this concern.
Monday, February 23 at 7:00 pm (6:30 band to perform) is Open House at St. Rose. Open House
is an opportunity for us to showcase the wonderful talents of our students and staff. Word of mouth is the
best advertising that we have, so please tell your extended families, friends, and neighbors to come out and
discover what St. Rose has to offer.

Band News
The Concert Band performed at Archbishop Oscar Romero High
School on Friday, January 30th in the “Rockin’ at Romero” band celebration. They joined band students from H. E. Beriault, St. Thomas More

work. The Concert Band sounded great!
