TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Expedition Northern Lights promotion
1.
The specific rules set out in these Terms and Conditions shall be incorporated into the
Competition Rules ("Rules") that shall apply to this promotion of Philips Branded Ambilight TVs
("Promotion"). By entering this Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions
and the Rules. In the event of a discrepancy between these Terms and Conditions and the Rules, these
Terms and Conditions shall prevail. These Terms and Conditions are subject to, and drafted in
accordance with, the laws of the Netherlands, including the Dutch Code of Conduct regarding Sales
Promotions (Gedragscode Promotionele Kansspelen).

The Promoter is TP Vision Europe B.V., with registered office at Prins Bernhardplein 200, 1097
JB, Amsterdam, the Netherlands ("Promoter").
3.
The Promotion will commence on 9 February 2015 ("Commencement Date"). The closing date
for receipt of entries is 23:59 (CET) on 5 April 2015 ("Closing Date").

The Promotion is open to residents of Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia,
Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Latvia,
Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal,
Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine and the United
Kingdom.

Employees of the Promoter or any other company within the TP Vision group of companies, and
their immediate family members, TP Vision's agents, authorised retailers and their employees, and any
person professionally associated with this activity (and members of their families or households) may
not participate in this Promotion.
6.
When you enter this Promotion, the Promoter assumes, and you warrant, that you are aged 18
or over.
7.
If you are entering the Promotion as an employee of an organisation then you have an
obligation to (i) inform your employer about the Promotion, and (ii) obtain the permission of your
employer to enter the Promotion.
8.
To enter this Promotion, the Eligible Participant must: play the game Expedition Northern Lights,
finish the challenge, submit the score and leave the relevant contact details. Additionally, to sign up for
the lottery to win a Philips Ambilight TV 7909 series, you need to share the Expedition Northern Lights
promo on your Facebook or Twitter account (number of shares will not influence the chance of
winning).
9.
The prizes awarded (each a "Prize") as part of the Promotion shall be:
a. 1 x 55-inch Philips Ambilight 7909 TV. The 55-inch Philips Ambilight 7909 TV has a value of
1699 euro. In the case of a winner from the United Kingdom, a 55-inch Philips Ambilight 7809 TV
will be awarded with a value of 1500 pounds.
b. 8 x 55-inch Philips Ambilight 9109 TV. The 55-inch Philips Ambilight 9109 TV has a value of
2599 euro. In the case of a winner from the United Kingdom, a 55-inch Philips Ambilight 7809 TV
will be awarded with a value of 1500 pounds.
10.
The winners of the Prizes will be selected via lucky dip in the Netherlands. The selection of
winners shall take place one week after the Closing Date.
11.
In all matters, the decision of the Promoter shall be final and no correspondence or discussion
shall be entered into.
12.
The winners will be notified by email or phone within 7 days after their selection (the
"Notification").
13.
If a prize winner fails to respond to the Notification within 14 days, the Prize will be forfeited.
14.
Any Prize is non–transferable and there is no cash alternative. The Promoter reserves the right
to substitute prizes of equal or greater value at any time.
15.
Prize or promotional products must not be auctioned or resold. The Promoter reserves the right
to refuse to accept further entries under this Promotion, or any other competition or offer, if it becomes
aware of the reselling or auctioning of Prize(s) or promotional items.
16.
This Promotion is limited to one Entry per Eligible Participant. Eligible Participants may provide
multiple Entries, but each new Entry shall invalidate the last Entry of that Eligible Participant.
17.
If you wish to withdraw your Entry, please contact philipstv.marketing@tpvision.com stating the
name of the Promotion.
18.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any difficulty experienced in accessing or submitting
an Entry.
19.
Neither the Promoter nor any other company in the TP Vision group of companies claims any
rights of ownership in your Entry. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for the return of any
Entries, including those consisting of artistic or other material.
20.
The prize winner(s) may be asked to take part in promotional activities and the Promoter
reserves the right to use the names and addresses of winners, their photographs and audio and/or
visual recordings of them in any publicity. Eligible Participants agree to their Photographs being used by
the Promoter for marketing purposes, free of charge.
21.
This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with,
Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. You understand that you are providing your information to the
Promoter and not to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. The information you provide will be recorded in
the Philips consumer database and will only be used in accordance with Philips' Privacy Policy as
published on www.philips.com. Neither Facebook, nor Twitter, nor Instagram accepts any liability to you
in respect of this promotion.
22.
The Promoter will pay any Dutch gaming taxes due. Any individual income taxes payable by a
prize winner are not paid or compensated by the Promoter.
23.
These terms and conditions will be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands.
This prize competition shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of
the Netherlands. When you enter this prize competition, you must make sure that in entering this prize
competition, you are complying with the local laws in your country of residence. If your participation is
held to be illegal according to your local laws, your participation will be held to be invalid.
