ANNOUNCEMENT
The Judicial and Bar Council (JBC) is still accepting applications or
recommendations for the position of Chairperson of the Legal Education Board
(LEB). Applicants must be natural-born citizens of the Philippines and members of
the Philippine Bar, who have been engaged for at least ten (10) years in the practice
of law, as well as in the teaching of law in a duly authorized or recognized law school.
Also open for application or recommendation is the position of LEB Regular Member
representing the Law Students’ Sector. The LEB Chairperson and Member shall
have the same salary and rank as the Chairperson and Member of the Constitutional

accomplished and notarized Personal Data Sheet (JBC Form 1 – downloadable from
the JBC Website http://jbc.judiciary.gov.ph). For applications to be sent thru e-mail,

New applicants or recommendees must submit not later than 26 March 2015 the
following documents in two complete sets (one original/certified true copy and one
duplicate photocopied on long bond paper) enclosed in separate long brown
envelopes and accompanied with (1) a transmittal letter indicating all the submitted
documents and (2) a compact disc or flash drive containing scanned or electronic
copies of all documents, including the application and PDS:

Previous applicants who are applying for the above-mentioned vacancies must
