ERING CHAM PIO ,2 017 SK WORLD SKI ORIENTEERING CHAMPIONSHIPS 2017 CH WORLD S 2017 In 2019 Krasnoyarsk will host the first winter Universiade which will become the third one in the history of Russia.The University Games will be staged from the 2nd to the 12th of March, 2019. The 2019 Winter Universiade Program includes 10 sports: Ski Orienteering, Cross-country Skiing, Biathlon, Snowboarding, Curling, Alpine Skiing, Freestyle Skiing, Ice Hockey, Figure Skating and Short Track Speed Skating. About 3000 athletes from 50 countries, 25000 tourists and guests and 5000 volunteers are expected to participate in the events of 29th Winter Universiade 2019 in Krasnoyarsk. Each federation can enter up to 7 athletes in each class in the individual events, up to 2 teams in the relay competition and up to 3 teams in the sprint relay. The eastern and northern slopes of the hill Nikolaevskaya sopka are covered with mixed forest. T he altitude above the sea level is 600 m, the elevation changes range from 100 to 200m. The final decision on the accurate scope and terms of using of embargoed area will be made after the Senior event advisor’s visit in March 2015.
