Mass. We will share video clips of missions in Kenya
and the Dominican Republic, as well as video clips
from the Operation Rice Bowl missions around the
world. The Works of Mercy Committee will give a
brief presentation on local needs.
Women, are you looking for a boost
in your spirituality? The Morgantown
Magnificat Chapter will host a prayer
breakfast at Lakeview Resort on March
7th from 9:00 am-noon. The speaker for the
breakfast will be Maria Vadia, who was born in Cuba
and fled with her family to Miami. Caught up in
materialism, she found herself empty. Maria will
speak of how her life changed when she sought a
personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Please
reserve your seat by March 1st at

God is not indifferent to our world; he so
loves it that he gave his Son for our
salvation. In the Incarnation, in the earthly
life, death, and resurrection of the Son of
God, the gate between God and man,
between heaven and earth, opens once for all.
The Church is like the hand holding open
this gate, thanks to her proclamation of
God’s word, her celebration of the
sacraments and her witness of the faith which
works through love.
