In addition to computer kiosk access, your student will be receiving a classroom presentation from the
Counseling Department regarding the registration and course selection process during the weeks of

GUAJOME PARK PRIMARY ACADEMY
NEWS
Dear Parent/Guardians,
As many of you know, Guajome Park Primary Academy (GPPA) has the potential to relocate and expand its
thriving program to 1132 N. Melrose Drive. Expansion is part of our organizations five year strategic plan. We
have had great success with our primary program. With over 600 families on a waiting list, we would like to
ultimately offer the opportunity of a “school of choice” for more families.
It is critical that City Council members hear your voice as they will ultimately make the final decision if we can
use our facilities! They can determine zoning by approving (or not) our use permit for the Melrose property. With your support, I am hoping that we can make a great case as to why GPPA should relocate and eventually offer additional educational opportunities for our community and Guajome families.
Please show your support in signing a petition for our City Council members. Petitions are available at the
front desk or with Mrs. Van Otterloo in the Wellness Center. Additionally, if you would like an electronic copy
to fax directly to Vista City Council, please contact Ms. Dekoekkoek at dekoekkoekje@guajome.net.
Thank you for your support and please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions about this process.
Sincerely,
Lindsay Arias
Administrator of Learning Support

Querido Padre/Guardas,
Sinceramente,
Lindsay Arias
