COURSES AND BIRDS
All tests will be a continuous course with no bird field. Native and
liberated quail will be used in all tests. Only blank pistols (starter pistols)
may be used in this event. Competitors in Master and Senior are expected
to wear blaze orange for safety. AKC approved tracking collars are permitted.
All live shooting will be done by Official Gunners.

REFUNDS
No entry fees will be refunded if the Test cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil
disturbances, fire, extreme and/or dangerous weather conditions, an Act of God, public emergency, act of
a public enemy, strikes or any other cause beyond the control of the club.
DISASTER AND EMERGENCY PLAN
CALL 911 FOR MEDICAL, LIFE/PROPERTY situations and state the nature of the
emergency. Send someone to the gate to guide emergency personnel to property.

Turn left onto Conner Cutoff Road, then right onto US 1 North, go past the Weigh Station
and make a U Turn to go south on US 1. Go approximately 34 miles on US 1 and turn onto
95 South. Go approximately 1/2 mile and exit onto 8th Street, exit 353D. Turn left on West
8th Street and follow the signs to Emergency entrance.
CLOSEST ANIMAL EMERGENCY - Affiliated Veterinarian Emergency 904-642-5911.
Hours: Friday 6 PM thru Monday 8 AM
Turn left onto Connor Cutoff Road, then right on US 1 North, go past the Weigh Station and
make a U Turn and go south on US 1. Go approximately 25 miles on US 1 and turn left onto
SR 104 E/Dunn Avenue. Go 2.5 miles to I 295N via the ramp on the left toward Savannah.
Go 15 miles to Exit 45 SR-113/Southside Connector toward Merrill Rd East. Merge onto
Southside Connector Blvd via the exit on the left toward Arlington Expressway/Southside
Blvd. Southside Connector Blvd becomes SSSSSSR 155 S/Southside Blvd. AVE is on the
service road running parallel to Southside Blvd. To reach the service road, take the Ramp
toward US 90/Beach Blvd and stay straight to go onto the Service Road/Southside Blvd to
3444 Southside Blvd on the right.

DIRECTIONS
NOTE: not all GPS systems will locate Doggone Trail. Use Connor Cutoff Rd and US1 as the closest intersection.
Use Map Quest for directions, or follow these below. Enter thru Arrowhead gate.

From the South, take I-295 to US 1 North. Go thru Hilliard and continue north until you see the sign for the Weigh
Station. Turn right onto Conner Cutoff Road just as US1 is split for the Weigh Station. Continue 5 miles to the gate on
the right for SSJ Farm/Doggone Trail, then follow the sign to the event.
BREAKFAST
Beverages and donuts will be furnished by the Club each morning.
LUNCH
Sandwiches will be furnished by the Club for a small donation. Water & other
beverages will also be supplied during the event.
From the North, it is aproximately 3 miles south of the Georgia Border on US 1 to the Weigh Station. You must pass
the Weigh Station and make a U Turn to go north on US 1 to turn right onto Conner Cutoff Road. Continue 5 miles to
the gate on the right for SSJ Farm/Doggone Trail, then follow the signs to the event.
EVENT ETTIQUETTE
Excessive drinking will not be tolerated. Please do not drink and drive.
Participants are responsible for their dogs, children, & guests.
Please pick up all trash and dispose of in trash bags provided by the club for that purpose.
The owners and NFGSP Club assume no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury sustained by
persons, dogs or personal property while on the SSJ Farm grounds.
For the purpose of determining misconduct during an AKC Licensed Event, the Event is not
considered over until all participants have left the grounds. The field will close Sunday after
the last dog has run to permit volunteers to clean the field of birds. There will be no training
of dogs on the grounds at any time.
MOTELS AND CAMPING
The closest motels are in Folkston, GA, the "Gateway to the Okeefenokee Swamp." The two listed below provide
basic accommodations. There are also numerous motels at the Jacksonville Airport, about 35 minutes away.
Western Motel, Folkston, GA 912-496-4711, mention dog event at SSJ Farm and dogs allowed in room.
Relax Inn, Folkston, GA 912-496-2514, dogs permitted.
Kelly's Countryside RV Park, Callahan, FL 904-845-4252.
Camping on grounds - dry camping may be permitted on the grounds. Please contact Sharon at SSJ Farm
for availability at 904-845-4123. There are indoor lavatory facilities on the grounds.

consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to
win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members, directors, governors, officers,
agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premises and any provider of services that are
necessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging
at this event, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any
person or thing by the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we)
personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties
harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog.

(OURSELVES) OR AS TO THE CONSTRUCTION, INTERPRETATION AND EFFECT OF THIS AGREEMENT SHALL BE
SETTLED BY ARBITRATION PURSUANT TO THE APPLICABLE RULES OF THE AMERICAN ARBITRATION ASSOCIATION.
HOWEVER, PRIOR TO ARBITRATION ALL APPLICABLE AKC BYLAWS, RULES, REGULATIONS AND PROCEDURES MUST
