PAGE 6 Child and Youth Services EA CDC Status Update: Weekly Story Time The cleanup of the Edgewood CDC is taking longer than initially anticipated. All of the work has been identified and the contract for water remediation and clean up should be in place. The Repair Team worked over the weekend to complete the work prior to returning the facility back to the CDC staff. We will do a final sanitation cleaning to ensure everything is to our standards prior to allowing children and staff back into the facility. At this point we anticipate being able to return to full operation on Wednesday, February 25, as long as there are no hidden issues that are identified. Parents, please work with the CDC staff if you are in need of placement of your child. We will continue to discount your monthly fees if your child is not in care during this building closure. The Preschool children will receive care at the Youth Center and we will be sending staff to the Aberdeen facilities where your children are receiving care. Please do not hesitate to let us know any of your needs and we will do our best to meet those needs. Thank you for your continued support. Bayside Community Center Fridays from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Story Time will feature stories for both pre-schoolers and school-aged children .
