We heard their harrowing story of Christmas day 2013 when they were thrust into the war in South Sudan. They led their kids for three miles through active battlefields to reach safety at the UN compound. Their story continues as they have begun to rebuild. In 2015, they hope to acquire land and establish a permanent base – including a church, a school, and homes for children, staff and guests. On Sunday, March 22nd, Brad and Kim will return to our church service and share more of their story with us. They have asked if we could help support them again by donating any of the following items: (Bring to the church by March 22nd) Flip flops (small, medium & large) Boys’ size boxers (small, medium & large) Girls’ underwear (size 3/4, 5/6) Women’s underwear (small and medium) Monetary donations Page 2 March/April 2015 Schedule for Chimes and Choir Serving Our Church Mar 1 Mar 8 Mar 15 Mar 22 Mar 29 G r e e t e r s f o r M a r ch : Andy & Amy Randol Nancy Marks & Keith Wirt Kurt & Gayle Shackelford Mike & Vickie Klein Dave & Jan Stolp Apr 5 Apr 12 Apr 19 Apr 26 Greeters for April: Bill Hillyard John & Marilyn Seward David & Jackie Van Ahn Jan Hoobin & Kathy Frampton Mar 5 Mar 8 Mar 19 Mar 22 6:30pm 9:30am 6:30pm 9:30am Chimes Practice Chimes Play Choir Practice Choir Play Apr Apr Apr Apr 6:30pm 9:30am 6:30pm 9:30am Choir Practice Choir Play Chimes Practice Chimes Sings 2 5 16 19 Panora United Methodist Church Annual Potato Bar April 18, 2015 at Vet’s Auditorium Serving from 5:00—7:00 pm.
