INTRODUCTION
★RACE OVERVIEW ★
The All American Marathon is a partnership event
between Fort Bragg and the City of Fayetteville. The
Marathon brings together the City of Fayetteville’s
local residents, businesses and city employees with the
Soldiers, Families and Civilian employees of Fort Bragg
creating a dynamic partnership and first class marathon
events.
By bringing thousands of runners, families and spectators
to Fayetteville, North Carolina, the All American
Marathon provides local hotels, restaurants and
business’s an opportunity to show why the All American
Marathon starts in the All-American City and ends at the
Home of the Airborne and Special Operations.
The All American Marathon is a patriotic run that allows
the everyday citizen to run alongside true American
Heroes and Soldiers. This experience creates an
exhilarating atmosphere, from helicopters flying over
head, to live artillery fire, and paratroopers falling from
the sky; The All American Marathon’s represents America
and patriotism at its finest.

Overview:
The pre race pasta party is a long standing tradition
among marathon races. It serves not only as a meal
for runners & their families but also fosters a sense of
camaraderie before the big race among athletes. This
event features keynote speakers, a chance for runners
to meet their pace group leaders and a chance to learn
more about the race itself.

Overview:
Volunteers are the backbone of any successful race. Over
1,200 community member and organizations volunteer
throughout all aspects of the All American Marathon
races. Volunteers have very high visibility; they are the
staff members that everyone sees on race day.

Overview: After successfully completing their race,
runners are awarded a well earned finishers medal.

Overview:
The finish festival is located at the finish line area of the
5K, full marathon & half marathon races. It is a place for
runners to celebrate their accomplishments, for their
supporters to cheer them on in the final leg of the race,
and for the community to enjoy an outdoor festival with
entertainment and fun.

Overview:
Race results are the main focus after crossing the finish
line. Runners and spectators alike are eager to see how
the results stack up, looking to see who the age group
winners are, or if they set a personal record for this
competition. Sponsor should have the ability to scan QR
codes on runner’s race bibs to display results.

Overview:
Ambassadors are the face of the All American Marathon,
mobile marketing and advertising for our 2015 races.
Ambassador members attend area events as well as
other races to promote the All American Marathon and
encourage registration. These representatives personally
recruit for our event and drive potential customers to
our website.

promote at community events & runs.

SPONSORSHIP
Overview:
Pace group leaders run a steady pace throughout the
race so that members of their pace group are able to
finish the marathon or half marathon in the projected
finish time for that group. The athletes are typically well
known in the running community and have high visibility
throughout the race.

• Logo on official pacers sign which they hold in the air
while running the full race distance.

ALMOST HOME
SPONSORSHIP
Overview:
The final quarter mile of the half marathon (13.1 Miles)
or full marathon (26.2 Miles) is the most challenging
part of the race where athletes have to dig deep and
need encouragement. This area is where the majority
of spectators will gather along the route to cheer on
runners, this is also a great place for a sponsor to place
signage with an encouraging message that runners will
remember.

Overview:
The recovery zone is an area of rest and recovery
for tired runners after the race. This zone will offer
complimentary services to runners as an oasis after their
long journey to the finish. Showcase your services to
pamper our 7,000 runners.

Overview:
Food stops are positioned throughout the full & half
marathon race courses offering a bit of extra fuel to keep
the athletes moving forward. There will be 4 food stops
for the 2015 races; your company could exclusively
provide the food for one of these fueling stations, making
thousands of positive impressions on the race course.

Lead Vehicle & SAG Vehicle
SPONSORSHIP
Overview:
The lead vehicle is driven in front of the first runner
marking the front of the race pack. The SAG vehicle is
an integral part of the full & half marathon races. The
SAG vehicles will follow the race routes and pickup any
athletes who have fallen behind the allotted pace time,
ensuring their safety as the roads reopen to traffic
behind the race.

Overview:
The All American Marathon races start bright & early
drawing spectators to the finish area to greet the first
finishers of the race. Breakfast is the most important
meal of the day and will be a huge draw for the large
amount of early birds who come out to support this
event.

Supply and serve a breakfast menu variety for 500 people including

Overview:
The All American Marathon races draw a large crowd
of spectator & community members as well as hungry
runners looking for a bite to eat. Complimentary food
leaves a great impression among patrons and gives
restaurants an immense amount of face time with
individuals from across the country. In 2014 the All
American marathon attracted athletes from over 46
different states.
