PRINCIPAL’S REPORT
School Council Elections Call for nominations
At the close of nomination period I received nominations from Mr Fred Butcher and Mrs Lorna Rasmussen
and since the number of nominations is less than the number of positions available, I would like to formally
announce that they have been elected to the 2015/2017 College Council.
I would like to open a second round of nominations for a parent member of School Council. Nominations
close 3pm on Thursday 12 March and forms are available at the General Office or on our web site.
I encourage parents to take the opportunity of making a contribution to the development of Highvale
Secondary College through membership of the College Council.
School Council AGM
The Annual General Meeting of the school council has been scheduled for Tuesday 24th March at
6.30pm in the staffroom.
A major function of this meeting is the presentation of the Annual Report.
