Applicants must be holders of a Bachelors of Law (LLB) degree and admitted as an advocate
of the High Court of Kenya, and must have a current practicing certificate. They must have a
post qualification working experience of at least 2 years and demonstrate knowledge and
understanding of Civil, Criminal and Corporate Legal Practices.
Successful candidates will ensure all Legal matters of the University are effectively managed,
oversee Contracts, Agreements and MOU’s, among others, which the University enters with
other parties, liaising with the Legal Departments in the government and other organizations.
They must also be computer literate.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Permanent and Pensionable following a satisfactory probationary period.
For Assistant Lecturers, they will be appointed on a two year renewable contract.
Salary Scale:
Kshs.68,776 x 2,239 – 82,212 x 2,790 – 90,584 p.m.
