ADULT EDUCATION
LENT
During Lent, there will be Exposition of the
Blessed Sacrament on Tuesdays & Fridays from
9.45am-1.00pm and on Thursday mornings from
7.00-8.00am. Stations of the Cross will take place
in the church on Fridays at 6.30pm and Sundays at
4.30pm. Extra confessions are on Friday 20 & 27
March, from 7.00 – 7.30pm.
The next session is on Thursday 19 March, 7.309.00pm in the Dupuis Centre. Discussion topic:
‘The Sacraments’. Everyone is welcome to come.
FHC – PARENTS’ MEETING
Next meeting for parents of First Holy Communion
candidates is on Wednesday 18 March, at 7.00pm,
in the church.
ST JOHN’S CASH BONANZA
1st Prize: £1,000, 2nd Prize: £500,
3rd Prize: £250. Draw at Cheese & Wine in
presbytery garden on 6 June, 6.00-8.00pm. For
those that have taken tickets, please arrange for
payment to be left at the Parish Office as soon as

HOSPITAL VISITING
We are no longer informed of Catholic patients in
the hospital. If you are going into hospital, or
know somebody who is in hospital, and would
appreciate a visit, please let one of the priests
know. There are forms at the back of church to
facilitate this.
